My Role
I joined this project with the responsibility of designing a seamless experience for Planet Dekor website and communicated this to the developers making sure that it reflects the design vision of the brand.
Problem
For a long time Planet Dekor team still using the social media as their project showcase and communication. It is hard for the team to visualize the project and share the details to they potential buyers. They also wants to create a better informative details on how to book their services.
Key Takeaway & Proposal
We wanted to ensure that when the user browse through the website, they will be able to navigate seamlessly, reduce question by providing the right information to the prospect client and easily understand the details on how to book the services.
To do this, we proposed creating a categorized catalogue based on the user needs, they can straight-forward filtered the portfolio based on the design that they want.
We've also designed a simple and clear information and contact form, making it easy to inquire about the design.
Early Ideation
We kicked off a design by doing competitor analysis and after we had discussion with Planet Dekor team, we came up with the site map.
Style Guide
Planet Dekor is a new company that does not have any brand guide yet. We tried to use style based on Planet Dekor logo.
Wireframe
High Fidelity
We then transformed these initial ideas into high-fidelity designs, play around with various colors, shapes, and layouts.
Then we discuss with the clients. However, they think the color and layout is not defining the brand. So, we continued refining the designs for a more cohesive look.
